 Wow! What a brutal winter/spring it has been. Here in Victoria we  have been battered by cold, snow, wind and rain since January. In  spite of this, only one Spring League day was cancelled because of  snow and travel conditions. Actually, truth be told, it was cancelled  the evening before based on an ominous forecast and the  beginning of the anticipated onslaught. 

 On behalf of the Executive of the BC Horseshoe Association I would like to wish all the best of the season to our members wherever they may be spread across this vast province. The sport of Horseshoes unites us across the miles and in the end we have a common goal – to do our best at our chosen sport and enjoy the support we get from our kindred horseshoe chuckers! 

 I am really glad that we horseshoe pitchers are able to gather  together again for our AGM on the eve of another great event - the BC Championships! I would like to thank in advance our hosts, the Vernon Horseshoe Club, Dwight  and his indomitable crew, for providing this venue and to all those volunteers  who will make the 2022 Championships a successful reality.
